Message From Andrew Ferguson

I am pleased to have been elected 9 September 2017 as a Councillor on the City of Canada Bay Council.

I have lived in the Canada Bay Council area for 25 years and am dedicated to making our local area an even better place to live and work.

Presently I live in Breakfast Point but have previously lived in Rhodes and Concord.

We have a popularly elected Mayor Angelo Tsirekas and a great team of Councillors from all walks of life. To contact Angelo and or other Councillors go to:

The council has a highly skilled management team and staff that have delivered well for local residents for many decades.

I hope to continue to improve representation for local residents that live throughout the City of Canada Bay.

As I live and work on the Concord side of our council area I will inevitably be more accessible to residents in Rhodes, Liberty Grove, North Strathfield, Concord West, Concord, Concord West, Mortlake, Cabarita and Breakfast Point.

I am one of two elected Councillors currently from this part of the Canada Bay Council area.

I will shortly arrange on a regular basis mobile streets ‘stalls’ where I can catch up with local residents.

Issues of better urban design and planning, equity, housing affordability, social justice and environmental sustainability are critical to my agenda. However if your concern is a damaged footpath or damaged road it will be give priority.

I would like to hear your ideas on how we can improve our local area.
